Chiruca Somiedo – Hiking boots with GORE-TEX Chiruca Somiedo are perfect boots for hiking and outdoor life. They are perfect for trails, paths and low-intensity activities. Made of high-quality nubuck leather with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane, as well as a light and cushioning polyurethane sole that provides good comfort throughout the day. Upper: Water-repellent nubuck leather with Scotchgard treatment Lining: GORE-TEX® Cordura®: Water-repellent textile Sole: Double density in polyurethane Weight: approx. 565 g (per shoe) GORE-TEX® The GORE-TEX material provides maximum comfort and protection in all types of weather and activities. The membrane is completely waterproof and windproof, but at the same time releases moisture and heat from the foot. This is possible thanks to microscopic pores that are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor – keeping the feet dry but allowing the skin to breathe. Each membrane is tested in the toughest weather conditions.
