Pine cones dipped in candle wax are an environmentally smart and efficient way to quickly light the grill and fire! The cone burns for a long time and with a very hot flame that easily ignites large logs. The cones are impregnated with candle wax and the long burning time combined with the heat means that one cone is enough to start a fire and no lighter fluid needs to be added! Place the cone with the folded scales down. Secure with firewood and light the cone from below. In just a few minutes, the entire cone burns and spreads the fire to nearby firewood. No small wooden sticks are needed as the heat from the firewood ignites large logs of wood immediately. The fire wicks are made from reclaimed residual products from the forest industry and factory-made candles. The cones are emptied of seeds that are used for replanting forests. With a unique technique, approx. 90% of the cone's spores have since been covered by Swan-labelled stearin. The Swan-labelled candle comes from misshapen and discolored candles.
