PREMIERE
Welcome to the premiere screening of Hunting Wild Boar – Jaktlust Extended Version
Thomas Ekberg and Mikael Jägare began producing hunting films over 30 years ago. Generations of hunters have followed them through hunting series such as Dianas Stigar, Jaktlust, and Jakt & Jägarliv, to name a few. Here at Jägarliv, you have the chance to get exclusive previews of films that have not yet been released – including hunting films based on never-before-seen material from their extensive production history.
Protective hunting of wild boar has almost become a new form of hunting—one that we hunters will likely be spending more and more time on. The farmer is happy, and we hunters get to enjoy many exciting hunting experiences in ripe fields that serve as a buffet for sows, boars, and piglets. It's a thrilling type of hunt, where you often get very close to the wild boar—as long as you pay attention to the wind direction and have a bit of luck.
When we used to work with TV productions, we had to stick to specific program lengths. An effective “TV half-hour” was about 22–23 minutes due to commercial breaks. Here, you’ll get to see much more—longer versions and pure hunting footage. Some of this material was previously included in short form in the Jaktlust series. Many viewers have asked us to release longer hunting scenes from our archive—less edited, showing the full hunting experience.
Under the title Dianas Original, we’ll be publishing clips and films that capture hunting in its true form—less edited, more “authentic” content. Perfect if you're simply in the mood to watch real hunting sequences.
